Prepare For “PokeMonth”!

As some of you may know already, February 27th will mark the official 20th anniversary of our beloved Pokemon series.

It’s kind of a big deal, and Nintendo is chipping in the celebration by throwing a ton of goodies our way, including some nostalgia draped 3DS systems.

Given the occasion, and how much the rise of Pokemon coincided with our childhoods, I am declaring the month of February as “PokeMonth”.

By that, I mean that Pearson’s Place will be churning out Pokemon related posts all month long. Countdowns, features, photos, and everything else you can imagine will start rolling out as soon as February comes.

It’s been 20 years since the first time we told Professor Oak what our name was, and I can’t wait to look back on two decades of adventures.

Keep a look out for all this great Pokemon content come February, and also keep an eye on my social media accounts, where I’ll be asking for Pokemon-centered ideas and opinions.
